The International Subscriptions Program (ISP) was developed to share cutting-edge medical information with child and youth health care providers in developing countries such as Sierra Leone, Iran, Sri Lanka, Uganda, India, and Nigeria, to name a few. Paediatrics & Child Health, the Canadian Paediatric Society's journal, is donated through a partnership with the journal's publisher, Pulsus Group Inc. Healthy Generations sends close to 70 packages of these journals each year to help establish resource libraries in areas with limited resources.
In order to provide the most up-to-date, reliable information to those that need and use it, subscription to this program is free. Subscribers are identified in a number of ways, including peer referrals and through personal requests for help. To a new subscriber, Healthy Generations mails the most recent 30 journals (previous three years) and then each year's issues thereafter. Your gift of $75 helps provide a one-year subscription to a health professional in a developing country.
